Eat less, exercise more. Everyone knows this is the key to better health and a slimmer waistline. So why does America have an obesity epidemic? Do we really lack the willpower to succeed at such a simple formula? Just eat less—less fat, less carbs, less salt. Less processed foods, less calories, less meat. It isn’t just a weight loss program; it’s a lifestyle to maintain better health. The book has shot to the top of bestseller lists without any commercial advertising—just word of mouth. THMers in Columbia are getting “on plan” too. Individuals, families, and churches are getting great results and improved health. And they never call it a D-I-E-T.

Christine Bingler, from Irmo, had just found out she was expecting her first child when she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 13 years ago. She muddled through her pregnancy trying to maintain half-decent sugar levels. She delivered a healthy baby, but also retained a few extra pounds.
