The hardest war to win is the one you don’t know you’re fighting.
Dr. Ted Baehr is sounding the alarm and rallying the troops as a movie critic, educator, lecturer, media pundit, and syndicated columnist. He’s been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Time Magazine, USA Today, The L.A. Times, and The Washington Post and made guest appearances on Oprah, CNN, ABC, Fox News Channel, MSNBC, and Entertainment Tonight.

Baehr brought his message to Columbia last spring, speaking at Columbia International University and before several private, school, and church groups as the guest of Chaplain E. Ray Moore, President of Frontline Ministries, Inc., and the Exodus Mandate Project.

“The entertainment industry makes an indelible impact on our culture, especially on the hearts and minds of children and teens,” says Baehr. By the age of 17, American children have consumed over 60,000 hours of media, spent 11,000 hours in school, 2000 hours with parents and 800 hours in church—if they attend once a week.

Baehr (BAY-ur) compiled research conducted by the Barna Group, the Motion Picture Association of America, the American Pediatrics Association, and other professional organizations for The Culture-Wise Family, his most recent book.
